Youth Center - Woodlawn

Youth Centers provide year-round services for Rhode Island youth ages 14-24. Our programs and services are available for youth still in school and for youth who have completed high school and are looking to improve their job skills. We also work with enrolled youth that have dropped out of school and would like to get their GED. CCAP staff will provide a full range of services to meet the short and long term academic and workforce needs of these youth.

The Woodlawn Youth Center focuses in:

  • Job skills development
  • Case management and supportive social services
  • Occupational skills training
  • Work experience and career exploration
  • Life skills and leadership development
  • Summer youth employment
  • Adult mentoring
  • Supportive social services
  • Information, referral and follow-up
  • Outreach and recruitment
  • Intake, academic and vocational assessment
  • Academic support
